    • Name, Email Address, and Photo: These are collected when you log in using your Google or Apple credentials. You have the option to change your name or photo anytime via the settings.
  • Conversational Data:
    • Audio Messages: All audio messages are automatically deleted after being processed.
    • Text Messages: These are securely stored in our databases to enhance your therapy experience. The data helps in tailoring the AI responses to better suit your needs.
  • Mindfulness Data:
    • Emotional Journey: Your daily moods are stored securely in our databases everyday. Whenever you erase your chat history, they are deleted along with it.
    • Personal Journal: These are securely stored in our databases to enhance your mental wellness. You can always delete any journal entry as you please.
    • Breathing Exercises, Meditation Practices and, Bedtime Stories: No data is collected from these Mindfulness activities.
  • Data Management:
    • Deletion: You have the option to erase your conversational history at any time through the settings, ensuring you have control over your data.

If desired, you have the option to erase your chat history, resetting the AI therapist's understanding and starting afresh.

Is my data and conversation with the AI confidential?

Can therapini diagnose or treat specific mental health conditions, and is it a replacement for traditional therapy?

Answer: therapini provides guidance and support but does not diagnose or treat specific conditions. While it offers insights and assistance, it's not a substitute for traditional therapy. If you have serious concerns about your mental health or are in crisis, it's crucial to consult a licensed mental health professional or emergency services. therapini does not collect any individual's medical records nor any individually identifiable health information and as such is not required to be HIPAA compliant.

Who is eligible to use therapini, and are there age restrictions?

Answer: therapini is intended for individuals aged 18 and older. Users between the ages of 13 and 18 require verbal or written parental consent before using therapini, as outlined in our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. therapini is not designed for users under 13 under any circumstance.

Does therapini offer support in multiple languages?

Does therapini require a constant internet connection?

Answer: Yes, to communicate with the AI therapist in real-time, a stable internet connection is required.

Can I access therapini from multiple devices?

Answer: Yes, you can log into your therapini account from any IOS or Android device. However, ensure you're logged out from public devices to maintain privacy.

How can I upgrade or downgrade my subscription?

All our payments and subscriptions are managed by the App Store (for iOS users) and Google Play Store (for Android users). You can easily upgrade or downgrade your subscription directly from these platforms. Here's how:

    • From here, you can choose to upgrade or downgrade your subscription as desired.
    • If you choose to cancel, you can resubscribe to a different plan directly from the therapini app after your current billing cycle ends.

    • Tap the menu icon (☰) and choose Subscriptions.
    • Find and select the therapini subscription.
    • From here, you can choose to upgrade or downgrade your subscription as desired.
    • If you choose to cancel, you can resubscribe to a different plan directly from the therapini app after your current billing cycle ends.

Please remember that any changes will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You'll retain access to the features of your current plan until that time.

How can I update my payment details or cancel my subscription?

Answer: Yes, you can permanently delete your account by going to Settings. Please be aware that deleting your account will erase all of your data. If you have already deleted the app from your device and still want to delete your account, please email us at [email protected] with the app associated email account with a subject DELETE MY ACCOUNT and we will verify & match your app-associated email with our records and subsequently delete your account permanently.
