therapini is a mental health therapy app where users can talk or text with an AI therapist for mental health support. These Terms of Service apply to all users and visitors to therapini. By using, visiting, or interacting with therapini via its applications or websites, you agree to these Terms of Service.
therapini is a worldwide service owned and operated by Nunuworks, Inc. When we refer to therapini (“we”, “us" or “our”) in this Terms of Service, we refer to the therapini website, applications, and services only, not to any other services owned or operated by Nunuworks, Inc. When we refer to users (or you), we mean all users and visitors to therapini.
These are therapini's Terms of Service, and they apply to all users of the therapini service. By using therapini you agree to these Terms of Service. We can collect and use your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
When you create an account you must provide us with accurate information, in good faith, and you agree to keep your information updated if it changes. You are responsible for anything that occurs when anyone is signed in to your account, as well as the security of the account. Please contact us immediately if you believe your account is compromised.
You are responsible for all activity on your account. If you violate our Privacy Policy, we may terminate your account. Avoid engaging in illegal activities, behaving abusively towards others, or technically exploiting therapini. If you are using therapini's services in the course of generating income, we are not responsible for what you do with your income. Please read our Privacy Policy to learn better how to use therapini appropriately. Our Privacy Policy cover most issues, but if you find a new way to hurt therapini or our users, we reserve the right to take swift action to prevent it.
To become a user, simply login to the therapini app or website using your Google or Apple Account. Upon joining, you become part of the therapini user community. You are granted 15 minutes of AI therapy free of charge, which is equivalent to the average word count discussed in the "How We Calculate Therapy Session Duration" section. Additionally, as a therapini user, you have complimentary access to the Mindfulness category. This new suite of features allows you to engage in activities such as tracking your emotional journey, personal journal, breathing exercises, meditation practices, and bedtime stories - each designed to assist you in achieving peace and emotional balance. We are pleased to offer all features within the Mindfulness category free of charge, enhancing your journey to well-being without any additional cost. After utilizing your complimentary 15 minutes of AI therapy, a subscription is required to continue accessing therapini's full range of services.
On therapini, once you have logged in, you can start an audio call or text messages with our AI mental health therapist, providing a flexible and accessible way to receive support for your mental well-being. Whether you prefer typing out your thoughts or speaking them aloud, therapini is here to assist you.
As a valued user of therapini, you have access to the Mindfulness category, designed to support your mental health and emotional well-being. This category includes a range of free features:
therapini offers 15 minutes therapy session for free for all new users. therapini offers various pricing plans available for monthly subscriptions after the free 15 minutes therapy session. therapini's prices may vary from various countries and regions. As such, please visit the pricing plan section within the app or check for our prices on the Apple AppStore or Google PlayStore.
Our prices may change from time to time. Please note that Payments, Currencies, and Refunds for therapini's services are handled exclusively by Apple's App Store and Google's Play Store. Any inquiries or concerns related to billing should be directed to these platforms.
On therapini, you have the flexibility to talk or text with our AI therapist at any time or any day. We calculate the duration of therapy sessions based on the combined word count from both you and the AI therapist. On average, a person speaks about 100-150 words per minute. Accordingly, a 1-minute session implies that the total number of words spoken or texted by you and the AI therapist together is around 100-150 words. Thus the average word count is the total number of words talked or texted by you and therapini combined divided by 100-150 words.
This promotion welcomes all users of our platform, both unsubscribed (free) and subscribed (paid) members, to share and receive the gift of therapy. Participants can gift one (1) hour of complimentary therapy to a loved one by utilizing a unique invitation link. For the recipient to successfully claim this gift, they must sign up through the specific link provided. Upon their successful registration (login), both the sender and the recipient will be credited with one (1) hour of complimentary therapy. This initiative is designed to allow our users an opportunity to use our services without any additional cost and to encourage our community to spread the wellness benefits of therapy.
This limit ensures a balanced approach to the distribution of complimentary therapy hours, allowing for broad participation while maintaining the promotion's integrity and purpose.
We do not collect Tax ID numbers from our users. You may be required to pay taxes based on your local jurisdiction when you are purchasing any of our services. This is typically shown as an extra tax field during the payment checkout process.
therapini is intended for individuals aged 18 and older. Users between the ages of 13 and 18 require verbal or written parental consent before using therapini. It is not suitable for users under 13 under any circumstance.
While therapini strives to provide a secure and supportive platform, it's important to note that content generated may not be suitable for all users or contexts. Users, and their parents or guardians, should exercise caution, especially when therapini is used by individuals under the age of 18. We encourage parents and guardians to support their child's use of therapini, ensuring a secure and confidential therapeutic experience.
We do not allow users to discuss or talk about the following topics on therapini:
Terminating accounts is not an action we take lightly and it is done only in the most extreme cases or circumstances. therapini reserves the right to remove a user from participating in any activity on therapini if they violate any of our Terms of Service or Privacy Policy.
As a global company based in Canada, we must comply with economic sanctions and trade restrictions implemented by the Federal Government of Canada. This means that therapini cannot take part in transactions that involve any citizen or people living in those countries. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.
We are constantly testing out new features intending to make therapini better. We may add or remove features, and often test features with a random subset of our users. If we believe a feature is significantly different from these Terms of Service, then we explain those differences in the feature trial. With your permission, we may give other websites or services the ability to verify information about your therapini account or perform actions on your behalf. This permission is asked for when you connect your therapini account to other websites or services (integrations). You can learn more about this in our Privacy Policy.
As a user, you can permanently delete your account at any time by going to your Settings. Account deletion doesn't automatically cancel your subscription. If you decide to permanently delete your account, please be aware that all of your data will be erased, but your subscription will remain active until you manually cancel it through the appropriate platform like Apple's App Store or Google's Play Store.
By relying on these established platforms, we ensure that subscription management is seamless and follows industry standards for security and user convenience. Users are already familiar with the process of managing subscriptions through these platforms, which provides a consistent and user-friendly experience.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time at our discretion. We reserve the right to remove any content you may have on therapini at our discretion. We reserve the right to cancel your future privileges to use therapini as well.
You may not bring a claim against us for suspending or terminating your account, and you agree you will not bring such a claim. If you try to bring such a claim, you are responsible for the damages caused, including attorneys' fees and costs. These Terms of Service remain in effect even if you no longer have an account on therapini.
By using therapini to chat with our AI therapist, you acknowledge that all your chat data will exclusively be used for enhancing your personalized therapy experience. therapini guarantees that your data will remain private and will not be used for any other purposes. Your data will not be shared, distributed, or used to create derivative works, and it will not be made available to any third parties under any circumstances. You are also reminded not to impersonate another person or infringe upon others' intellectual property or proprietary rights when using therapini.
You may grant therapini access to your third-party accounts for some therapini features to operate. Each time you connect your third-party account, that third-party account will present a page that describes the information that therapini can access. At any time, you can revoke therapini's access to those accounts using the third-party integration applications.
Our creations are protected by copyright, trademark, and trade secret law. Some examples of our creations are our site, our app, our logo, our icon, and our codebase. We grant you a license to use our logo and icon to promote therapini only. You may use our logo or icon for article publishing and distribution only but you may not edit them in any shape or form before publishing. You may not otherwise use, reproduce, distribute, perform, publicly display or prepare derivative works of our creations unless we give you permission in writing. You will indemnify us from all losses and liabilities, including legal fees, that arise from these Terms of Service or relate to your use of therapini. We reserve the right to exclusive control over the defense of a claim covered by this clause. If we use this right then you will help us in our defense. Your obligation to indemnify under this clause also applies to our subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and third-party service providers.
therapini is provided “as is” and without warranty of any kind. Any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any other warranty is excluded to the greatest extent permitted by law. The disclaimers of warranty under this clause also apply to our subsidiaries, affiliates, and third-party service providers.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable to you for any incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of these Terms of Service, or your use or attempted use of therapini. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for damages is limited to the amount of money we have earned through your use of therapini. We are specifically not liable for losses associated with unfulfilled benefits and from losses caused by conflicting contractual agreements. For this clause “we” and “our” are defined to include our subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and third-party service providers.
We encourage you to contact us if you have an issue. If a dispute does arise out of these Terms of Service or concerning your use of therapini, then the dispute will be resolved in a provincial court located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Both parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the British Columbia courts to resolve any such dispute. British Columbia law, excluding its conflict of law provisions, governs these Terms of Service, all other therapini Privacy Policy, and any dispute that arises between you and therapini.
These Terms of Service and any referenced Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us and supersede all prior agreements. If any provision in these Terms of Service is held to be unenforceable, then that provision is modified to the extent necessary to enforce it. If a provision cannot be modified, it is severed from these Terms of Service, and all other provisions remain in force. If either party fails to enforce a right provided by these Terms of Service, it does not waive the ability to enforce any rights in the future. We may sometimes make changes to these Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If we make material changes that adversely affect your rights, then we will let you know before the changes come into effect. Continuing to use therapini after a change means you accept the new Terms of Service or Privacy Policy. These Terms of Service are an agreement with Nunuworks Inc.
